Hi, so I have recently just noticed two white bump like things the size of a pea on the left side of my tongue, it had white lines kinda coming out of the circle area? And on my right side it seems as if they re about to forum into lumps, I m very connected about this because I have kissed someone about 8 days ago and I m starting to think its an oral disease? I m not sure how long it takes for those things to show.. However I also think I have had these white lines before I kissed the guy. I m only sixteen, and Im pretty healthy overall. (I don t have covered medical care either)
Understanding your concern. As per query you have white bumps on tongue. Well the symptoms you mention in query are pointing towards a condition known as lie bump also known as ' transient Lingual Papillitis ' . This occur when papillae on the tongue get irritated due to various reasons like hot and spicy food , acid drinks or food , and any other minor injury . This condition can also occur due to stress and hormonal imbalance . Usually clear up without treatment and within a few days. But your should not pluck then by your own as then can get infected and cause further complications . I would suggest you to consult oral pathologist for proper examination . Doctor will examine carefully and rule out conditions like scarlet fever , syphilis and traumatic fibroma . Keep yourself hydrated. Doctor may prescribe antibiotics along with anti inflammatory . For now do warm saline rinses several times a day and maintain proper oral hygiene .
