Medication for West syndrome includes drugs such as ACTH, oral corticosteroids, Vigabatrin, and conventional antiepileptic drugs (AED).

If a localized cortical lesion is found as a possible cause of the seizures, resection surgery may be considered.

The ketogenic diet also is found to reduce seizures.
