Suggest Treatment For Vomiting In A 4 Year Old
Hello. My son is 4 years old and has been vomiting since Thursday, 6 days straight. he can keep down liquids but not solids. he has no headache, temperature or diarrihea. I took him to the doctor and she ruled out a virus and says maybe reflux. She prescribed omphezal (i am not spelling this right). How ever he started it yesterday and the moment he ingest it is is thrown up 5 minutes later. After he vomits he is back to his normal playful self. Could something more serious be going on.

I think your son is suffering from gastritis and GERD.
o would advise you to give him ONDANSETRON SYRUP OR MOUTH DISSOLVING tablet then add some ppi you can crush the tablet and give with water so that all the dosage form is not vomit out.
i also advise you to give him pepsin enzyme combination.
