Suggest Treatment For Vomiting And Hyperacidity

Hello I have been experiencing vomitting (mostly liquids) for the past few days. There are some food or drink that trigger the vomitting like citrus or chocolate or oily food. I had history of heartburn and I took OLex for 7 days. Hyperacidity is okay now but my vomitting persists. I can only take very little portions of food so to avoid feeling choked and not burping well

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Your problem can be most likely due to acute gastritis. You can take over the counter proton pump inhibitors like olex or Nexium or h2 blockers like Ranitidine ( zantac ) for 1 week. If there is again nausea then motility enhancers or anti emetic drugs like domperidone will be needed also. Taking antacid syrups like gaviscon is also good. You can also apply hot water bags on abdomen. Take light foods like porridge, soup etc. If there is no improvement then consult your doctor.

Hope this may help you. Let me know if anything not clear.
Thanks.

Hello dear
I understand your concern
Your symptoms could be due to gastritis or stomach ulcer.
I would suggests to consult the gastroenterologist and undergo endoscopy, urea breath test, stool antigen test and blood antibody test to rule out the H.pylori infection.
Meanwhile take following advises:
Tablet esmoprazole 30 minuted before meal for 2-3 week
Syrup mucine 30 minutes before meal
Tablet domperidone
Capsule sporolac
Take food like banana, rice, applesauce, yogurt, buttermilk and toast
Take small frequent meal rather than large meal
Avoid over eating
Avoid stress, hurry, alcohol and smoking
Do regular exercise like walking and yoga
Hope this may hep you
