Hi,

Levamisol, seems an effective medicine for treatment of vitiligo with minimal side effects, particularly in slow progressing disease. Usual recommended dose is 150 mg daily for two consecutive days every week. The results may be variable patient to patient.

Definitely, relapse may be there in some cases and you may have to start the treatment again with same doses. The total duration of treatment may depend on the condition of patient and may be some where between 4-48 weeks. Some times for quick and better results, topical use of corticosteroid ointment may be also beneficial.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
