Hello
As you mentioned that there was Vitamin "D" deficiency and you took calciferole two years back . Now same symptoms .
The normal level of Vitamin "D3 " is 60-108 pmol/L (25-45 pg/mL).
The deficiency of Vitamin D causes pain in bones with skeletal pain and also in muscles and this is most common.
You took dosage but din't mention the cause of deficiency , may be due to .
1 Nutritional deficiency in adults dose 10 mcg( 400 I U)daily till complete improvement and level.
2 Deficiency due to malabsorption state or liver diseases dosein adults 1 mg ( 40,000 I U ).
3 Hypocalcaemia caused by HYPOPARATHYROIDISM dose in adults up to 5 mg ( 200,000 I U ) daily .
4 Without or due to unknown reason 60000 I U once in a week for 3 months and there after once in a month ( 60000 I U ) for next 9 months i.e complete treatment for one year.
Hope this information will help you.
