Suggest Treatment For Viral Meningitis Post-viral Syndrome

I was diagnosed with viral meningitis/viral syndrome 3 days ago. My scalp is so tender I can hardly touch my head or hair. It has a raised rash on the scalp, but it is not red. the glands at the base of my skull are swollen and tender. My gums are swollen and sore, my tongue is white and extremely painful and I have a large canker sore. My fevers are almost gone. 100 is the highest in last 24 hours. Body ache is also gone. What could cause this intense scalp pain?
