my daughter is 7. She has had fever for 5 days now. I've taken her to the doctor and he said that it is a viral infection.I'm concerned and would like to take her to hospital to have her checked for the kind of virus. My husband says I would make it worst. what should I do?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Viral fever is self limited but as 5 days are passed and still she is having fever, requires some investigations like,
Complete blood checking,
Urine check up and if require,
X-ray chest.
Consult Pediatrician and get examined.
Ok and take care.
