Hello,
The
vertigo can be due to:
- BPPV- It is due to disease of balance centre of ear. It occurs after change in head position
- Cervical spondylosis- in cervical spondylosis, vertigo comes normally comes with head movements; in fact, vertigo can be relieved by eliminating neck torsion against head
- Cerebellar vertigo - It is due to damage to
cerebellum, main balancing centre of brain; it occurs along with drunken gait, slurred speech, in-coordination.
Kindly get your self examined from
neurologist and get
MRI brain done. For relief at home:
- Take tab
Betahistine, Cinnarazine after prescription
- Avoid forward neck bending
- Avoid pillow use
- Take plenty of fluids, at least 3 ltr daily
- Neck exercises
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
