Suggest Treatment For Vertigo

I have been getting random vertigo attacks just recently. It first occurred when I awoke on Thursday morning, the minute I woke up, the room began spinning, it was a horrible sensation, and even though it did eventually go away, I still felt mildly dizzy and had moments of Vertigo again throughout the day. When I awoke on Friday I was alright, and again on Saturday, but now today (Sunday), I had another attack, again I have had to lie down all day and after a slight nap feel mildly better, but during the attack, the room was spinning, again it was a horrible sensation. It is odd, one minute I have full control and everything is fine, the next minute the room is spinning, I feel sick and I can do nothing but lie down. If the slightest movement makes me dizzy and gives me nausea. Thanks for reading, I'd like to get some opinions.

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi, You did not mention your age and co morbid conditions like Diabetes and HTN, Drug history, Male /female... But still any vertigo can be managed as follows. Open your eyes and get accustomed to the surrounding. Get hold of some fixed things like handles., try to fix your feet on the floor , follow 30 seconds theory as for getting up 30 sec legs down 30 sec, standing 30 sec, moving forward 30 sec. If you have vertigo on turning sideways , turn to that side slowly as a whole body. you may take Cinnarizine + Dramamine combination for a week,if you still feel verigo you meet ENT Dr nearby and Neuro if necessary. Take care
