I was working out this morning and when I got home my right hand was hurting a little - looked at it and noticed a vein was bubbled up close to wrist bone but still on hand area and that was what was hurting, is this something I should be concerned about?
It could be a thrombosed vein due to excessive working or vibratory movements. As long as it does not spread up, there should not be anything to worry about. give the area some rest, apply a crepe bandage to give compression, apply Heparin ointment and take anti-inflammatory medicines like Paracetamol or Ibuprofen till pain persists. Take care and let me know if you need any more assistance. Dr Rishi, New Delhi, India.
