Suggest Treatment For Varicose Veins
my husband has bad varicose veins in his legs, yesterday he thought his sock was stuck on a scab on his lower calf and when he pulled the sock off blood started squirting from the leg, he applied pressure and got it stopped after a minute, will it be alright or could additional problems occur if so what kind of Dr should he see, there is no bleeding from it today just bruising around it

Hi, your husband needs to be seen by a Vascular Surgeon and bleeding is one of the complications of Varicose veins and it suggests that he should get a Color Doppler of his venous system of that limb done and the varicosities should be tackled by Laser or surgically.
