Suggest Treatment For Vaginal Blisters

Hello Dr Rynne I have got a vaginal wart for about a year now. I searched online for home remedies and came across one which suggested applying fresh garlic paste on the wart leaving it on for few hours. I tried it and it burnt crazily. After 2 hours I washed the area. Now I have blisters around my vagina and my whole vagina is sore. To pacify the blisters on my vagina I ve applied oil over them. Please kindly help. Thank you. Angie

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I think you should visit your gynaecologist to treat your warts. He may apply Podophyllin on them which is a bit difficult to be applied by yourself because it is likely to cause burns on vagina. Be careful on applying it and use hydration cream on healthy vaginal skin.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
