Suggest Treatment For Uterine Fibroids

Hi I am having a dull pain in my lower right hand pelvic area. I have been having occasional pain here for several years. I went to my OBGYN and after an ultrasound and physical exam was told I had a fibroid ,and that was the most likely case. I am 49 and suddenly they seem to be coming more often, usually just sitting down makes them go away, however as I know menopause is most likely getting closer they have been seeming to be a little more frequent. What should I do?

Hello dear
I understand your concern
Fibroid treatment will depend on the size, location and severity of symptoms.
First you have to try medical treatment like
Tablet ibuprufen
Tablet danazol
Tablet containing progesterone or progesterone containing IUD
All these medicine will helpful in regression of fibroid and reduce the symptoms.
But if pain is no resolves then best treatment is the surgical excision.
So consult the gynecologist and take proper advises
Hope this may help you
