Suggest Treatment For Uterine Fibroids

Should I be worried about a small subserosal hypoechoic masslike area in the anterior uterine body measuring 12 mm x15 mm. Two hypoechoic masslike areas are indentified in the posterior uterine body. The largest measure 3.4.x2.7x2.5 cm. These are most consistent with benign fibroids. I was sent for the sono after the gyn said I had an enlarged uterus. I'm 54 and still having periods although the last two to three are becoming irregular and unlike the norm for me. My right ovary also had a simple cystic structure measuring a maximum of 2.4 cm. The endometrial stripe measure a maximum of 12 mm. I started a period on Jan 1st and it was light and lasted 2 days. The sono was done on Jan 7th and I started another period on Jan 11th.

HELLO DEAR
I understand your concern, since fibroid rarely grows after menopause so no need to worry about fibroid , but the concern is you are still menstruating ( the average age of menopause is 51 years ) and another thing to worry is endometrial thickness , I would suggest to consult your doctor and go for endometrial biopsy and pap smear to rule out endometrial hyperplasia and carcinoma. Best of luck
THANKS
