Suggest Treatment For Urinary Problem

Hello, (urination problem for the past 5 years)

My name is Aaron, and I'm a 23 year old male. This is a bit of a long one and also one that I should really get told off about for not going back to the docters 5 years ago! Any how...

It started when I was 18 years old, all of a sudden this one random day I had a mayjor urge to urinate, then once I urinated I then needed to go again around 130 seconds later, this was frequent every 130 seconds for atleast 12 hours or so. However when I did urinate there was not much urine as my bladder was saying there was, if you understand what I mean?

After that night (12 hours) the next day my bladder had changed again, I was not needed to urinate as frequent however I was needed to urinate alot throughout the day, more then usual. My bladder would make me feel like I needed to go urinate quite bad when actually once I went there was not much urine coming out.

Any ways, after this had happened I was obviously a bit concerened so I went to see my GP. I explained all I could to my GP at the time of all the symptons I'd had over the past week and abit of having an unusal bladder. He said that from what it sounded like back then that I most probably had something called an iritated bladder, something which old people get. He said it is uncommon for someone to have around my age group, and what he suggested is from then on to, when I feel like I need to urinate, do not go and urinate, hold it in as long as I can untill I feel I am bursting. He said that this will then train my bladder and put it back to normal again, he said come back and see him in two weeks to see how it went.

However I did not go back and see my GP, and I regret not doing it but quite frankly being honest with you I hate going to the docters, I worry to much about things like that.

So any way, I tried holding it for as long as I could untill I felt like I was bursting but, basically I could hold my bladder for the whole day feeling like I needed to go to the toilet, having that sensation on my bladder of feeling like its full, and i'd never feel like I was really really bursting.

My symptons are currently to this day, as follows:

Sensation on the bladder a feel for urination (I hold this in for atleast 5 6 hours each time, then when the sensation is strong I let out the urine) Then I will feel no need for urination for around an 1 hour, then I will feel the sensation again, weak and slowly build up towards strong. My urine flows slowly, even after holding it for 5 to 6 hours, infact it flows more slowly after holding it for this period of time. I go to work and can do my all day activities and live my life normaly but with a bladder sensation of feeling like I need the toilet near enough 24 7. I do not wake up in the middle of the night to go to the toilet, I have also tested my bladder, by feeling like I need to urinate then going to sleep for 8 hours then waking up in the morning with the sensation feeling strong, however overall I did not wake up in the middle of the night bursting to go. When having sex half way through I will feel the sensation and can continue having sex untill the end of it, with this feeling of urination, but afterwards it will be much stronger.

I drink around my daily intake of RDA of water a day.

I am sorry that there was so much types here, I felt that I should just put it all on a plate to explaine exactly how I have thought about it and exactly to the points of what has been happening.

Please could you help me in any way. I have tried booking a docters appointment with a male docter at my local GP but they are fully booked for 1 week and 2 days.

Very Many Thanks

Aaron
