Pediatrician 's  Response
Hello,

Urinary incontinence in children needs to be addressed. Before prescribing medicine, would like to find out the cause for urinary incontinence. If it's due to spine related problem, surgical management will help.

Other causes of urinary incontinence such has bowel bladder dysfunction and dysfunctional voiding needs to addressed if present. Some drugs like oxybutynin or Tolterodine may help in incontinence.

But I would advise you to see a paediatrician and a pediatric surgeon to get an opinion.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Nirubhan Bharathy, Pediatrician
