Suggest Treatment For Upper Respiratory Tract Infection

My children and husband all had upper respertory infection that lasted about a week. I got it a week ago and just as I thought I was recovering I can no longer breathe when lying down, The cough is getting worse again but it is not a dry cough anymore. should I go to the emergency room for pneumonia or do you think it is just another phase of the infection?

thanks for asking your query
i completely understand your problem
if you are running high grade fever along with productive cough ,it can be pneumonia, you can consult a chest physician or a pulmonologist and get a chest X-ray done to rule out pneumonia.
about upper respiratory tract infection ,you should take a course of antibiotics like cefexime for a week or two.
no need to panic.

thanks/regards

may god bless you with good health
