Suggest Treatment For Upper Abdominal Pain And Nausea
I have pain in my upper abdomen that increases rapidly and some times lasts from 30 minutes to several hours. pain is sometimes present in the back beneath the right shoulder. I have nausea. and it is hard to take normal or deep breaths. this is for a school project and I need to know what these symptoms might have for diognosis

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of upper abdominal pain and nausea . Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like gastroenteritis , bood poisoning , irritable bowel syndrome , lactose intolerance or electrolyte imbalance. For now eat light and non spicy , avoid food like seafood and nuts , take antacid after every meal and keep your head elevated while lying down . Tka e a light walk after every meal and also take anaspas for pain.I would suggest you to consult gastroenterologist for proper examination. Doctor may order stool test , ultrasound , endoscopy along with that take history. Doctor may prescribe laxative , ornidazole or albendazole along with ranitidine.
