Suggest Treatment For Type 2 Diabetes And Hypothyroidism

I am a 27 year old female in fairly good health. I am overweight, and have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes and hypothyroidism in the last year. However, in the last 2 months I have experienced over 80 episodes where I randomly pass out. I completely lose consciousness for 1-4 minutes and when I wake up again I m generally disoriented, have slurred speach and experience a spike in blood pressure (typically around 170/120) for about an hour. After that time, everything returns to normal (including my blood pressure when normal it runs around 120/70). I have had a complete work up on my heart and nothing has been found. I have also had a CT scan of my head and chest that have been negative. They did recently find a lesion (2cm) on my thyroid but don t seem to think this is the cause. Any suggestions about my next step? I m extremely frustrated and would love to find some answers so I can get back to normal. Thank you!

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern and I would like to say that with the history of diabetes and hypertension if patient is having history of fainting then this could be Transient Ischemic attack of brain, and this need to be ruled out, this is some time not easy to detect by Imaging study but still repeat test may need with enhance study, hope this helps.
