Suggest Treatment For Twisted Esophagus

what is treatment for a twisted esophagus? my mom had her ent stretch her throat in april and then yesterday the stomach doctor did a endoscopy and stretched her throat again and said she had a twisted esophagus and her hiatal hernia was much worse and would see her in October and discuss what to do about it. why wait do long to fix it?

As you explain the situation usually if the hiatal hernia is large and cause severe signs and symptoms than a surgery is needed. I can not say exactly why her doctor has said to wait. I suggest you however to follow his advice because he knows better her actual clinical picture.
