Suggest Treatment For Tremors With Parkinsons

my husband has Parkinsons which was diagnosed 4 years ago. He is 77. He takes sinemet 3x daily plus several other meds. His tremors have accelerated over the past 3 months. He is still active and is able to drive and handle his personal affairs. Not all his doctors are proponents of integrative medicine. He used to get acupressure/accupuncture txs. for other medical issues with good results but he does not feel these txs. will help with the parkinsons. Are there any supplements that would help him? Do you feel accupuncture might be beneficial? He feels he is on a vicious cycle of more meds, symptoms, then more meds.

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Dear patient
Tremors are part of many symptoms that a patient with parkinsons will have. And all symptoms are controlled by the medications which you are taking. So there are two possibilities 1. He is taking inadequate dose of medicine 2. He is be becoming refractory to drugs. So you need to consult your treating physician and get yourself examined for the cause and to guide the treatment of cause.
