Suggest Treatment For Too Much Gas

Hi I'm not sure if I have IBS but I have really bad wind where my gut gurgles and when I pass wind, mucus is released. I'm fine until after lunch then it comes on late afternoon/evening. It is embarrasing when I cant control when the wind is relesed.
