Suggest Treatment For Tonsillitis
my 3 year old was diagnosed with tonilittis a week ago, he had a fever of 39c the doctor didnt have much joy at looking at his throat however as time has gone on his fever has gone but his gums are inflamed and very sore ,he hasnt eaten for a week and when we brush his teeth there is a lot of bleeding,is this a symtom of the tonsillitis ?

Welcome to healthcare magic.
I had gone through your question. This could be secondary to tonsillitis and he also has gingivitis.
Nothing to worry. He will be fine.
I recommend the following.
1) Ask him to avoid brushing hard.
2) A course of antibiotics preferably amoxicillin with clavulunic acid.
3) Analgesics like paracetamol for pain relief.
4) Salt water gargling. Add a pinch of salt to a glass of warm water.
5) Local anesthetic based gel to apply for gums.
