Suggest Treatment For Tonsil Stones

I have tonsil stones and I don't know what to do; should I go to the doctor and get the stones removed? I looked online and tried taking them out myself last night but it didn't work out so well, just caused gaging and it hurts even more today.
Also; I've been smoking weed since but it doesn't seem to affect it but I was wondering if smoking weed hurts the infected tonsil?

Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query.
The tonsilloliths or stones can be removed surgically. So consult a ENT surgoen and get it treated. Do not try by yourself, because if you traumatise that area, it can get infected and may result in pain and swelling. Do saline gargling.
I hope my answer will help you, take care.
