Hello thanks for asking from HCM

The symptoms you have mentioned like constant tiredness, feeling sluggish, wasting times in watching TV, rejection sensitivity of mother, feelings that you are subject of criticism, crying spells etc are due to depression only. Excessive stressor at home can be one aggravating factor.

First thing that can be done in such situation is to talk to your mother about your problem. She is your mother and she will have no grudges against you. She will understand your problem.

Consult a psychiatrist for management of depression. SSRIs and SNRIs are commonly used medications of depression. SSRIs as escitalopram, citalopram are very effective in depression. Consult a psychiatrist for prescription.

Apart from that Cognitive Behavior Therapy have good results in depression. Cognitive therapy will help to reveal faulty cognitions in your brain and then will help in cognitive restructuring.

Thanks, hope this helps you
