Suggest Treatment For Tingling Sensation In The Shoulders

I pulled a muscle in my left shoulder, last Wednesday. I am still sore along the left side of my neck and shoulder but there is tingling in my bicept and tricept into my thumb. It feels like its asleep trying to wake up. Anything to relieve the tingling, I have been using tiger balm, and taking ibuprofen.

thank you for contacting us. muscle spasms in the neck can pinch the nerves leading to tingling like this. hope you did not hurt badly when u pulled your muscle.

other possibilities are cervical disc diseases. let us know if you have any urinary issues or erections issues.

if you say no to above questions then take some muscle relaxing exercises to relieve spasms. you can apply heat or cold over the shoulder area where all started. finally you can take muscle relaxants to kill the spasms.

if you don't get relief with these or develop any weakness or if you answer "yes" to above questions should see the doctor.
I find this answer helpful
