Suggest Treatment For Tingling Sensation And Numbness In The Neck

I believe I had a pinched nerve I was an avid smoker of pot daily and began to have a tingling hot feeling in the back of my neck I began to have numbness in the right side of my body and have stopped since then roughly three weeks. I went to the dr and received a ct scan which showed nothing at all. I was having these episodes almost daily but they have stopped for more than a week I still drink and that hasn t have seemed to have a negative effect. I wish to smoke again but am worried it might further complicate my health. Id very much like another opinion thank you very much.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to a pinched nerve. I suggest using anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the pain. If the symptoms continue, I recommend to see a neurologist for further evaluation and prescription painkillers.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi
