Suggest Treatment For Tinea Infection

hello sir i have red rashes in the groin area for the last 4 months the doctor has told me that this is a disease called tinea. i am using ketoconazole cream as per doctor advice earlier i have used panderm cream and lobate gm , there is no any improvement, i am getting much worried due to this. please give your suggestion

Tinea is a fungal infection and it is often treated with ketoconazole, but sometimes you need to try a different antifungal medication. I suggest that you try Lamisil (terbinifine) and see if that will get rid of the tinea. Panderm and Lobate contain steroids not antifungals and while they may help with itching they may actually make the fungal infection worse so I would avoid them.
