Suggest Treatment For Tibial Plateau Fracture

Had a tibial plateau fracture 7/11. One large Fracture hasn t healed. Plate and eight screws installed to help stabilize fracture. The plate is pulling away from the bone 3/8 inch ( guessing). My pain level is low maybe 2/10. The surgeon told me to continue the rehab with walking (with cane) not exceeding 2 miles a day. The fracture has grown in size each month until 11/13/14 when the fracture looks like it s 1/8 and extend to almost center of tibia. Question: should I continue walking as the doctor suggested? Should I get a second opinion?

Hi,

I have studied your case with diligence

This can be delayed healing may be due to intra articular tibial plateau fracture.
Other reasons can be poor bone stock or due to smoking/drinks
If you can send all your x ray reports I can help you better.
You can take second opinion with radiological film.

You can send your reports of x ray directly to me on
