Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concerns..

As per your complain Clotrimazole is an anti fungal medication and is used to treat fungal infections..
As you are suffering from thrush, that is a fungal infection you need not to worry as the symptoms will resolve as the infection will reduce..
You cannot expect the infection to subside within a day and you need to take medication for atleast 15 days..
In case if do not find any improvement even after a week you need to consult an Infectious Medicine specialist and get thoroughly evaluated and a clinical evaluation and investigations like swab culture and microscopic examination of the scraping from the infected area can help in diagnosis and treatment can be done accordingly..
In case if improvement is slow other antifungal medication can be added like Griseofulvin, fluconazole, terbinafine etc..
As of now you should continue taking the medication and observe for the results of treatment and if the condition worsen consult a physician and get evaluated..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
Dr.Honey Nandwani Arora.
