Hi, I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.
you have hemorrhoids which are also called as piles.
There are 4 degrees of hemorroids according to their presence with or without bowel movements.
After your brief history ,i can tell you that intially you have 3 rd degree piles ,but now turned into 4 th degree piles
.
Treatment of the piles are many. You can get releif by simple sclerosant dye injection into the mass, but it may get repeated.
Surgical treament is the permanent cure for this.
Consult a SURGEON.
He will do PROCTOSCOPY,to know the size and position and degree of the pile mass and type most probably an external hemorrhoid.
Surgery can be planned after discussing with your doctor.
Present complaint , gas and leakage of stool is due to excess mucosal discharge from pile mass, mucosal layer of the gut.
You think it is thrombosed hemorrhoid, but
thrombosis of a pile mass is a treatment method by injecting sclerosant. So, do not worry about thrombosis, actually hemorrhoids are due to dilated gut blood vessel(vein) enlarged underneath mucosa and causing obstruction to stool passage.
That is why you are getting gas.Use high fiber diet, take plenty of water,
LACTULOSE syrup can be used as a laxative.
Finally,if your age is above 50 rule out other conditions like large intestine cancers.(there may be some chances and do not get upset by this line)
