Hello

Welcome in H.C.M.

I have gone through your query regarding recurrent sore throat and your treating doctor had diagnosed it as due to acidity. Though you have been given medication for the same which is not helping you. So I would like to suggest you these basic investigations which may be helpful like-

1- Culture and sensitivity of throat swab.

2- Gram's staining of sputum.

3- Pharyngoscopy .

After this you should consult your ENT doctor I hope with the help of clinical co-relation of physical findings with inferences of investigations one may reach to correct diagnosis and that may be accordingly manage.

Regards.
