Suggest Treatment For Throat Pain

Hi,my throat has been hurting for 7 days but 5 days ago my right ear started hurting and got blocked. I went to the doctor and he gave me antibiotics which I have been taking for 5 days. My right ear is now releasing light yellow fluid all the time and it still hurts and feels blocked. My throat still hurts too.

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Pain and discharge from the right ear indicate that there is an infection present. Since you have been using antibiotics for 5 days with no improvement then it may mean that the bacteria causing the infection is resistant to the antibiotics given.

This is also the case for the persisting throat pain.

It would be best to re visit your doctor. You may need alternate antibiotics.

I hope this helps
