I have had throat infection associated with severe body pain and fever since one week. I was adviced to take Opox 200mg and pain killer. My fever came down within 72 hrs. but my cough did not subside. I am now given Ceftum 500mg twice a day and Deriphyllin R 150mg. The cough is continuous. The flem is white in colour. Even the trhroat infection is not fully gone. I continue to have irritation. I am worried with this persistent cough and already changed the antibiotics twice. Please advice course of action for immediate relief from cough and throat irritatio.
