Suggest Treatment For Termination Of Pregnancy
Hi,i am 18.i done sex on my poverty period and i don't weant to be pregnant and i take postpill after 75 hours .and us my fear is increasing i take ciprofloxacin 500mg for 7days to day is the 7th day or i stop taking cipro to day and still i am affraied.pls tell me how can i abbort by medicine.

Understand your concern
Ciprofloxin does not cause abortion, please stop to take it. First confirm the intrauterine pregnancy by USG scan and then plan to abort the pregnancy under the advice of gynecologist.
You have to take it under medical surveillance to prevent complication like excessive bleeding and incomplete abortion.
You can use abortion pill that is prescribed by gynecologist,
By procedure, mifepristone 600 mg orally should be followed by misoprostol 400 ug vaginally after 48 hours. If require another 400 ug after 4 hour should be given.
Follow up at 7th day and USG at 14th day to confirm retain product.
If excessive bleeding (2 pads /hour for 2 consecutive hours), foul smelling vaginal discharge and excessive cramps will occur, immediately consult the gynecologist. If abortion will fail you can not continue the pregnancy as continuation cause developmental defect in the fetus.
