I fequently have headaches that over the years that doctors have said were tension headaches. Sometimes I have a burning sensation also. At times regular ibuproben can help, at other times not and some times I get a burning sensation. I have never been to a neurologist regarding these as I have just always went with the diagnosis that they were tension headaches. I have never been diagnosed with allergies altho I do not like any thing with a heavy scent. I am tired of these headaches that interupt my day. Where do I go from here.
I 've gone through your scenario, I can understand your anxiety about the long run of tension headache.
I would suggest you, * To do relaxation techniques * Stretching exercises. * Local heat & neck massage. * Yoga * Also have a consultantion with a ENT specialist & an ophthalmologist to rule out any other underlying causes. * If not u can try Analgesics, Triptans & antidepressants ( if uncontrollable)
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Get well soon.
