Suggest Treatment For Symptoms Of Foot Osteoarthritis

2005 I was told I have arthiris in my left foot. With RXs to confirm. A couple years ago a podiatric said it was Plantar Fisicitis . No RXs , she has me go by a shop and get support and recommended good supportive shoes I did so. It continues to swelling and gets painful at times. I am 70 years old and I wear compression knee hi. The doctor said she could inject a steroid for pain, never took her up on it.

Pathologist and Microbiologist 's  Response
Hello,

Plantar fasciitis is a progressive condition which increases with the passage of time.

Plantar fasciitis can be managed by supportive shoes and steroids if required.

I suggest you re-visit your doctor for management of plantar fasciitis.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
