Suggest Treatment For Swollen Vagina After Using Veet Hair Removal

I used Veet as a hair removal on my vagina and today it burned and it has never done that. When I washed it off I noticed that it was stinging. So I looked at my vagina and saw that it was swollen and red and raw like. I applied a cold compress and cortisone cream. When I used the restroom it burned really bad and when I wiped I saw puss like. What can I do?!

Hello dear
I understand your concern
You have developed severe allergic reaction/contact dermatitis due to the chemical in the veet hair cream.
Please consult the dermatologist to examine for safer side.

Doctor would give following advice:
1. Wear pure cotton loose undergarments, avoid sweating in burning aers.
2. Sitz bath: sit in warm salted water for 10-15 minutes, 2-3 times/day: it help in healing
3. Antibiotic ointment: Polyflax Ointment-help in to prevent infections
4. Mild steroid application like 0.5 percent hydrocortisone-help in reduction of inflammation and reduce itching
5. Avoid perfumed soap, use gentle soap lotion of dove.

So I would suggest to take proper prescribed medicine and will help in better management.
