Suggest Treatment For Swollen Tonsils

I have had a problem with swollen tonsils before. Now the pain incurred by swallowing keeps moving from tonsil to tonsil and is never in both at the same time. Both tonsils have white spots which I am used to. However, now the one that hurts has a red line running down it. I was wondering if this is normal in tonsillitis and if it is anything to worry about.

Hi,
It seems that you might be having chronic tonsillitis and due to infective foci remained on tonsils giving you this problem recurring.
Go for throat swab examination.
Go for full course of antibiotic for 7-10 days.
If recurrence is there go for tonsillectomy operation.
Avoid cold drink and junk food.
Ok and take care.
