Suggest Treatment For Swollen Throat

I have a particularly large tonsil crypt that has been causing my throat to swell and leads to painful swallowing. It is continuously oozing a white liquid. I have tried gargling with salt water and mouth wash and have tried using a water pic. Throat lozenges don t help. Neither did 2 rounds of anitbiotics. What can I do?

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

You may need to consider visiting an ENT specialist for treatment. It is possible that you may need surgical therapy along with the oral antibiotics.

In some persons there may also be a stone present that is affecting the tonsils.

I hope this helps
