Suggest Treatment For Swollen Stomach And And Shortness Of Breath In An Elderly Person
my 65 year old father has a swollen upper stomach ,he is sayn his kidneys hurt,& a liltle short of breath ,he has taken gabapentin,morphine& he wants to know if the gabapentin affects the kidneys?? I want to no what the symptons indicated make it out to be,he rufuses to go see a dr,thank you!!

As you explain the situation I don't think gabapentin damage the kidneys. Probably he has gases in the bowel and needs an abdominal ultrasound to evaluate it please discuss with your doctor to order it.
