Suggest Treatment For Swollen Nasal Passage
Have swollen nasal passages for weeks. Developed a fever and started Augmentin 2 days ago. How can I relieve my nasal passage inflammation? I've tried Motrin, saline spray, and pseudophed. I also tried afrin, but am hesitant with it because of rebound complications.

As per your query you have swollen nasal passage, Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query like allergies , hay fever , nasal polyps , chemical exposures , chronic sinusitis , tumors and a deviated septum. You should take nasal sprays along with warm saline rinses. I would suggest you to consult ENT specialist for proper examination . Doctor may order CT scan , nasal endoscopy , viral culture test and blood tests . Doctor may prescribe antibacterial or nti viral depending upon the diagnosis along with decongestant or expectorant . Doctor may also prescribe anti allergic or recommend surgery in case of deviated nasal septum or nasal polyp . For now apply warm compresse on nose , keep your head elevated while sleeping , take steam and take benadryl twice a day .
