Suggest Treatment For Swollen Lymph Nodes And Infection Of The Eye

Hello I woke up a few weeks ago and my eye was completely shut with some discharge. I went to the doctor they said it was pink eye and gave me drops. Three days after finishing the drops i woke up with some discharge in my eye. I went to another doctor and they gave different drops. I have been on those drops for seven days but I still wake up with some milky discharge in the corner of my eye. Can i start wearing my contacts again today? I also had swollen lymph nodes since my pink eye started and they are still swollen but the doctor found no infection.

Hello
Welcome to health care magic.

I reviewed your history.
It seems from the history that you are on treatment for pink eye.
Since still you are having discharge the use of contact lenses is not advisable as of now.
The presence of swollen lymph nodes indicate presence of inflammation and requires antiinflammatory drugs.
If the symptoms of eye discharge persisi you need to change the antibiotic eye drops according to the culture and sensitivity report.

Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.

Thank you
