Suggest Treatment For Swollen Lymph Nodes And Congested Lungs

(28 yr old, 5 cig/day smoker, otherwise healthy female) 3 weeks ago I woke with left tonsil and left lymph node swollen. Next day left tonsil the size of a gumball and completely white. extremely painful. Low fever (100.7) for 24 hrs, no other symptoms. Strep = negative. 3 days later tonsil returned to normal. Throat has been sore for 3 weeks now. Occasional dry cough. Also having trouble taking deep breaths. Especially early morning and in evenings. Lungs feel like I smoked lots of cigarettes, But have not smoked at all since tonsil first enlarged 3 weeks ago. No seasonal allergies.

I suggest using anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the symptoms.

I also suggest using a throat spray with antibacterial properties.

I suggest to drink a lot of liquids.
