Suggest Treatment For Swollen Lymph Glands In The Neck And Sore Throat

I HAVE A POSSIBLE SWOLLEN LYMPH GLAND IN MY NECK, I HAVE NOT BEEN SICK AND HAVE NEVER HAS THIS BEFORE IN MY WHOLE LIFE. I HAVE NOT BEEN SICK. I HAVE BEEN SLEEPING WITH MY MOUTH OPEN, AND THIS HAS CAUSED MY THROAT TO BE SORE. WHAT CAUSES SWOLLEN LYMPH GLANS, OR COULD THIS BE A CYST. MY DOCTOR GAVE ME AND ANTIBIOTIC TO TAKE. SHOUL I GO AHEAD AND REQUEST AN MRI.

Hi,

If you think you have a swollen lymph node, there will be pain if you touch that. Then it means it is swollen and you can feel it. It means there is some infection nearby. Either it can be dental origin, ear or nose origin or anything in the neck. Go ahead with antibiotics. If still it's not subsiding go ahead with scan or MRI.
