Suggest Treatment For Swollen Knee Post Injury

I recently found out that I have pain on my knee due to bone on bone. A week ago I fell on my bathroom floor and injured my bad knee (right) causing pain and swelling. The swelling has subsided some, but there is still swelling which I think might be fluid and I don t see my orthopedist for over a week. My question is should I see him before my appt. or should I see him immediately?

Before seeing any orthopaedist or taking any medicines answer few questions
are you having any difficulty in walikng/climbiling stairs/instability while walikng
does your swelling increases on walking
if so then you should see a orthopaedist and if not then you can take some analgesics with serratiopeptidase combination with hot fomentation of knee and wait for some time
