Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic

It is possible that it is an abscess. This is a collection of pus.

The definitive treatment is incision and drainage of the area by a doctor because even though it burst there may still be residues of infection present.

In addition antibiotics may be needed.

It would be best to visit your doctor for an assessment.

I hope this helps
