Dear patient
Post traumatic swelling and oedema persists for some time may be months. Wound healing also takes fifteen days after it stitches will be removed. Skin discolouration may persist for initial weeks but regain it's colour within two months. Apply no marks cream after complete wound healing. Apply ice packs frequently to reduce swelling. Take tab chymoral forte thrice a day before meals to reduce post traumatic oedema. Do not worry you will be fine.
