Suggest Treatment For Swollen Eye Brows Post Injury

I accidentally dropped the plastic plate connected to the Bumble seat and it hit my son s brow. It was swollen and red and he cried for less than 5 minutes. He is only 5.5 months. After that, he ate some and proceeded to spit up some. Should I go to doctor and what would they do?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello and welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

As a physician, I would like to tell you that you should apply ice cube wrapped in a cloth 2 to 3 times a day. Make sure that water does not go into his eyes or nose. Also, if the eyebrow is having laceration and bleeding you should visit a physician as soon as possible.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Abhijeet
